Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 m.-large eggplant(s)
  • 3 stalk(s) Celery
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 red chili pepper(s)
  • 125 g bacon, diced
  • 1 tbsp, heaped paprika paste
  • 100 ml red wine, dry
  • 125 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 dashes fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

With eggplant and celery

This dish takes time, but it’s worth it. Dice the onion, eggplant, celery, and chili. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the minced meat until crumbly. Add the bacon, onion, and chili and let it brown. Stir in the paprika and fry lightly. Deglaze with wine, stock, and a splash of fish sauce. Add the celery and eggplant. Mix well and simmer on low heat for 2 hours.
