Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 1 large egg(s)
- 60 ml oil, neutral (sunflower oil)
- 260 g natural yogurt
- 1 large onion(s), diced
- 1 clove(s) garlic, diced
- 100 g flour
- 110 g flour (rye flour or wholemeal flour)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- Black pepper, freshly ground
- Paprika powder, sweet
- Cayenne pepper or Pulbiber (pepper leaves) and a little Kimyon
- oregano
- 60 g cheese (Gruyere), coarsely grated
- 70 g cheese (Emmental), coarsely grated
- 350 g minced meat (beef or three kinds or lamb)
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Preheat the oven to approximately 200-210 degrees Celsius (400-425 degrees Fahrenheit). Prepare the muffin tin. Combine the wet ingredients (egg, oil, and yogurt) in a blender. Stir/mix the dry ingredients with a spoon. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients (as per other muffin recipes), fill the muffin tins, and bake in the oven on the center rack for approximately 25-30 minutes. Test with a toothpick to ensure they are cooked through (the batter will not stick). Serve warm or hot with a mixed salad or melon.
