Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
LowCarb – suitable
Dice the onion and cherry tomatoes, and slice the garlic into wafer-thin slices. Drain the olives. Slice the goat cheese. Combine the ground beef, egg, onion, garlic, tomatoes, and green olives, and season gently to taste (remember when seasoning that the goat cheese has a strong flavor of its own, which becomes particularly intense during baking). Pour 3/4 of the ground beef mixture into a casserole dish or baking pan. Distribute the goat cheese slices on top and cover thinly with the remaining ground beef. Finally, scatter the black olives on top. Bake the whole thing in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan-assisted) for about 45 minutes. Serve with a delicious, fresh cucumber salad. Tip: In some ovens, the temperature should be increased to 200°C for the last 10 minutes to achieve a nice browning. But everyone knows their oven best.
