  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 3 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 Can, 400 g Canned tomatoes
  • Salt, pepper from the mill
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp, heaped Oregano, dried
  • 1 tsp, heaped Basil, dried
  • 0,25 tsp Thyme, dried

  1. Peel the onion and garlic and chop finely. Heat the olive oil and butter, sweat the onion and garlic cubes in them until translucent, add the tomato paste and sweat briefly while stirring. Add the canned tomatoes, season with salt, pepper and sugar and simmer with the lid on for about 15-20 minutes until the tomatoes are soft.
  2. Finely puree everything with a blender.
  3. Season the tomato sauce with balsamic vinegar, oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary and sage, stir well and, with the lid on, leave to stand for about 5 minutes on the switched off hotplate.
  4. Prepare the spaghetti according to the instructions on the packet and serve sprinkled with the sauce and grated Parmesan.
  5. Mixed lettuce tastes good with it.
