Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g chocolate (block chocolate)
  • 6 tbsp water
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 120 g flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 100 g almonds, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

my daughter’s favorite cake

Boil the chocolate block with 6 tablespoons of water and let it cool. Separate the eggs. Combine the butter, sugar, and egg yolks. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir in along with the chopped almonds and melted chocolate. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. Pour the batter into a loaf pan and bake at 180°C for about 60 minutes. Once cooled, drizzle with a delicious chocolate glaze.
