Moist chocolate hazelnut loaf cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 5 eggs, separated
  • 120 g flour
  • 10 g baking powder
  • 200 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 200 g chocolate, dark cream chocolate (cut into small pieces)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Preheat oven to 160°C (325°F). Beat egg whites until stiff. Cream together softened butter and sugar, then stir in the egg yolks one at a time. Stir in the flour mixed with baking powder, nuts, and chocolate, and finally stir in the beaten egg whites. Spread the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 45-50 minutes (test with a toothpick). Once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
