- 100 g butter
- 350 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 75 ml cream
- 250 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 lemon(s), juice

Very tasty and simple lemon cake, always a success.
Cream the butter and sugar with a hand mixer or in a food processor until fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the cream and mix slowly. Mix the flour and baking powder together and mix slowly. Now stir in the lemon juice. Grease a loaf pan with butter and dust with flour. Pour in the batter. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat) and bake the cake for 15 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 160°C and bake for a further 44-45 minutes. Can also be eaten warm.
