Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 300 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 375 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 250 ml red wine
  • 150 g chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Beat the butter with eggs and sugar until fluffy. Gradually add the remaining ingredients and mix everything into a smooth batter. Finally, mix in the chocolate sprinkles. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Pour the batter into a springform pan or loaf pan and bake for 70-75 minutes. The cake should still be slightly moist on the inside. Let cool and serve with whipped cream.
