  • 125 cl white wine
  • 250 g jacket potatoes

Cut a 1 cm slit around the edge of the round French soft cheese in the wooden box and lift it off. Scoop out 1 teaspoon of the soft cheese mixture, which is covered in a firm mold. Place the finely diced garlic into the resulting indentation and season with pepper from the pepper mill. Wrap the wooden box containing the cheese in aluminum foil, leaving the top open. Heat the cheese for 10 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C. Remove the cheese, add a generous splash of white wine, and lightly fold it into the soft cheese mixture along with the garlic and pepper. Return to the oven for another 20 minutes, increasing the temperature to 240°C for the last 5 minutes. Remove the cheese and serve in the wooden dish with warm boiled potatoes.
