Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 700 g jacket potatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • butter
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 3 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 100 g bacon
  • Parsley
  • dill

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Boil the potatoes in their jackets, peel them, and slice them. Brush the bottom of an ovenproof dish with a mixture of chopped garlic and a little butter. Layer the potato slices, cheese, egg slices, fried bacon slices, and chopped herbs on top. Sprinkle some more cheese on the last layer of potatoes and pour over the remaining fat from frying the bacon. Brush with butter and bake in the hot oven for about 35 minutes. Sautéed mushrooms can be used instead of bacon.
