Mozzarella in Parmesan – egg – breading

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 balls of mozzarella
  • 50 g Parmesan
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Drain 2 balls of mozzarella and cut into approximately 1 cm thick slices. Whisk the egg and add the Parmesan. Coat the mozzarella slices in flour and then in the Parmesan and egg mixture. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the mozzarella slices until crispy. This is a great side dish for spaghetti with tomato sauce and fresh Parmesan.
