Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 pack of frozen puff pastry (rolled out rectangular)
- 200g mozzarella
- 150 g ham
- 1 can/n tomatoes, diced
- Italian spice mix
- 1 egg(s), beaten
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Finely dice the mozzarella and ham and spread them along with the tomatoes on two-thirds of the puff pastry. Season with the Italian spice mix, salt, and pepper. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg and fold in, then roll up into a strudel from the long side. Garnish with leftover pastry, if desired, pierce several times with a fork, and brush the entire strudel with the remaining egg. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes. Serve with salad.
