Ingredients for 30 servings:

  • 4 cup(s) oatmeal
  • 1 cup xylitol (sugar substitute) (birch sugar)
  • 2 cups applesauce with small pieces
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp blossom honey
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp bourbon vanilla powder (vanilla powder)
  • 200 g sultanas
  • 200 g almonds, chopped
  • 100 g walnuts, chopped
  • 100 g sour cherries, dried
  • 100 g strawberries, dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

First: The mug you’re using holds approximately 250 ml. First, warm the milk and dissolve the honey in it. In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. Then, combine the milk with the dissolved honey and mix first with the applesauce and then with the eggs. Pour this mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir to form a porridge. Thin with milk if necessary. Pour the porridge onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and smooth it out. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (convection oven) for 1 hour, until the surface is nicely browned. Let it cool, then cut into granola bar-sized pieces and freeze, individually wrapped.
