Muffins with herbs and Parmesan

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 2 tbsp herbs, e.g. thyme, sage, rosemary, parsley, chives
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 ¼ cup(s) buttermilk
  • ¼ cup butter, melted

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Combine flour with baking powder, sugar, salt, herbs, and cheese. Quickly stir in buttermilk, butter, and egg. Pour the mixture into muffin cups and bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Tip: Add a little water to an ovenproof dish; the increased moisture will make the muffins nice and fluffy.
