Munsterland Croissant

The perfect munsterland croissant recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 750 ml. Water
  • 350 gr Rock candy
  • 65 gr Butter
  • 65 gr Lard
  • 2 st Eggs
  • 1 Packet Vanilla sugar
  • 500 gr Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon. Cinammon
  • 15 gr Anise
  1. Dissolve the candies in the water, cool. Heat the butter and lard and cool them down a little. Beat eggs with vanilla sugar until frothy. Stir in the flour and sugar water, add the spices, let the dough rest for 2 hours.
  2. Bake spoon by spoon in the croissant iron. Roll into rolls or croissants while still hot.
