Mushroom sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp, leveled flour
  • 1 cup whipped cream, approx. 200 g
  • possibly water
  • 1 tsp stock powder
  • ½ tsp parsley, dried
  • salt and pepper
  • Onion(s), freeze-dried
  • garlic powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Clean the mushrooms, slice them, and fry them in a pan with butter for about 5 minutes. Then dust them with flour, mix well, pour in the cream, and bring to a boil. If the sauce becomes too thick, simply add a splash of water to the pan. Season the sauce with broth, parsley, salt and pepper, garlic powder, and the freeze-dried onions and simmer for another 5 minutes. Tip: You can swap out the dried herbs and vegetables for fresh produce. However, due to my tolerance, I use the ingredients as described. We usually serve it with broccoli and pasta.
