Mustard lentils

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 tsp fat
  • 100 g lentils, red
  • 50 g soup vegetables, dried
  • ⅛ liter of water
  • 2 tsp vegetable broth, dried
  • 2 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tsp mustard, hot
  • drops of lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

tastes good with all pan-fried dishes

Heat the frying fat, sauté the lentils, add the soup vegetables, and pour in the water. Simmer for 25 minutes, until the lentils are as tender as you like. Now add the stock and mustard powder, and stir in the mustard. If desired, add lemon juice for a finishing touch. This dish is delicious with any pan-fried meat or fish fillet.
