My Dumpling – All sorts

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 package of dumplings (mini dumplings)
  • 1 package of gnocchi
  • 1 apple
  • 2 tbsp mustard, hot
  • 200 g almond(s), chopped
  • 200 ml cream
  • 5 tsp spice mix (aioli and pepper) or
  • 2 garlic cloves and 1 fresh pepper, chopped
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the dumplings and gnocchi in boiling salted water until they float to the top. Drain in a colander and let stand. Meanwhile, dice the apple. Add the chopped almonds to a hot pan with 1 teaspoon of good-quality butter and toast until golden brown. When the almonds have reached their holiday brown, add the apples to the heat. If almonds and apples get along, surprise them with the spicy mustard and invite your friend, cream, to join in. The dumplings and gnocchi also mingle with the roaring crowd and bring with them the “aioli and pepperoni” mix or the chopped garlic with pepperoni to perfectly round out the atmosphere. Serve and enjoy! I’d say this dish is very filling and shouldn’t be served as an appetizer.
