Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 9 rolls, cut into small pieces
- 375 ml milk, hot
- 60 g butter or margarine
- 1 onion(s), diced
- 3 sprigs of parsley
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vegetable broth, instant
- 1 tsp herbal salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Pour the hot milk over the chopped rolls. Sauté the onion and parsley in the butter and then add to the roll mixture while still hot. Mix the eggs with the spices and add to the mixture. Mix the mixture well and then let it rest for about 20 minutes. Prepare the roasting foil according to the package instructions, shape the roll mixture into a loaf (with wet hands) and place in the foil. Seal the foil and pierce the surface twice with a needle. Place on a cold rack in a cold oven. Bake at 170°C for about 1 hour. Tastes good with roasts and all dishes with sauce. Any leftovers can be sautéed and served with salad or apple puree they make a great leftover meal.
