Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g rhubarb
  • n. B. water
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, red currant jelly

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Grandma’s recipe

Peel the rhubarb and cut it into small pieces. Boil it with 500ml water and the sugar for about 10 minutes, until the rhubarb breaks down. Mix the fruit compote with a splash of water and stir in. Simmer for about 5 minutes longer. Serve simply with milk. Simply delicious and a hit with the kids.
