Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g margarine (Rama)
- 300 g sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 100 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 tbsp milk, cold
- 4 egg whites
- 100 g almonds, chopped
- 3 cups of cream
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar

Delicious cake, made easy!
For the Norwegian slices, beat Rama, 100g sugar, and the egg yolks until frothy. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and cold milk. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet, spread evenly, and smooth down. Beat the egg whites and 200g sugar until stiff peaks form and spread over the dough. Sprinkle with chopped almonds. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 35 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool. Cut the cake in half. Whip the cream and stir in the vanilla sugar. Spread the mixture on one half of the cake and place the other half on top. Important! The cake must be completely cooled before adding the cream! Tip: To prevent the cream from running down the sides, it’s best to cut the cake with an electric knife.
