Nut cake with chocolate icing

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 250 g margarine / butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • 250 g hazelnuts, ground.
  • 50 g chocolate (crumbs)
  • 9 g baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pack of chocolate coating, whole milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Beat the margarine, sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Then add the sifted flour, baking powder, chocolate crumbs, cinnamon, and hazelnuts. Grease a round baking pan and pour in the batter. Preheat oven to 165 degrees Celsius (325 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake on the middle rack for 50-65 minutes. Melt the chocolate coating and spread it over the cooled cake.
