Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 pack of dough (shortcrust pastry), ready-made
  • 2 cup(s) jelly (currant jelly)
  • 3 eggs, egg whites beaten to snow
  • 300 g hazelnuts, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Nut corners very quickly

Roll out the shortcrust pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spread with jelly. Mix the egg whites with the hazelnuts, pour over the topping, and bake at 175 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. Cut into squares and then halve these to form triangles. You can also dip half of the sides in chocolate. Of course, anyone can make their own shortcrust pastry. Perfect for surprise guests!
