Nutella muffins

Ingredients for 18 servings:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg(s)
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 5 tbsp applesauce
  • 6 tbsp Nutella
  • possibly chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with applesauce

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly for 5 minutes. Pour into a greased (or lined) muffin tin and bake in a preheated oven at medium heat for about 20 minutes. This makes 12 to 18 muffins, depending on the size of the tin. I use a regular coffee mug for measuring. Occasionally, I add a cup of chocolate sprinkles to the batter.
