Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 large bananas
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • ½ cup oil (e.g. rapeseed oil)
  • 1 cup dates, chopped
  • some salt
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Chop the dates (they don’t need to be too small), mash the bananas, or better yet, puree them. Scrape the seeds from the vanilla pod and mix all the ingredients together. If the cookies are for small children, omit the walnuts; they taste good without them. Place small piles on a baking sheet and bake at 180°C for about 10 minutes.
