Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 100 g cheese (fully mature Romadur, 60%)
- 100 g Camembert(s), fully ripe
- 100 g butter, soft
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder (sweet or hot)
- Caraway, plenty
- Onion(s), finely chopped
- possibly cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
(royal Bavarian and above all very classic!)
Salt, pepper, paprika, plenty of caraway seeds, and plenty of onion. It’s best to crush the cheese with a fork, adding a little cream if you like. The Obazda cheese should have a “crunch” from the onions when chewed. The Obazda cheese should have a distinct brick-red color. (You can also use a blender if you don’t like it too “coarse.”)
