Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g Camembert(s), mature
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 100 g quark
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • 5 tbsp wild garlic (finely chopped, approx. 1/2 bunch)
  • salt and pepper
  • Caraway powder
  • 4 tbsp beer (wheat beer)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Roughly chop the Camembert, add the butter and quark, mash everything with a fork, and mix well. Season the cheese mixture with salt, pepper, and ground caraway seeds. Stir it into a cream with the finely chopped onion, wild garlic, and wheat beer. Let it sit for about an hour. Serve the cream with radishes or radish spirals on slices of rye bread. Tip: Using Romadur or Limburger cheese instead of Camembert results in a very rich flavor.
