Om Ali

The perfect om ali recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Puff pastry
  • 30 g Hazelnuts
  • 20 g Coconut flakes
  • 25 g Raisins
  • 30 g Sugar
  • 50 ml Milk
  • 100 ml Whipped cream
  1. Roll out the puff pastry and bake on a black sheet. Let the puff pastry cool down.
  2. Break the dough into small pieces. Mix the puff pastry pieces with the hazelnuts, coconut flakes and raisins. Put everything together in a buttered baking pan.
  3. Bring the milk with the sugar to the boil and pour over the mixture in the baking pan. Spread the whipped cream evenly over the mixture.
  4. 4th baking: approx. 10 min. At 220 degrees (be careful not to burn it!)
