Omen's pasta salad

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 serving of cooked mayonnaise (in my recipes)
  • 500 g pasta (horn pasta)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 4 m.-sized tomatoes
  • 5 spring onions
  • Paprika powder, sweet or hot
  • pepper
  • Salt
  • possibly mustard
  • possibly vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Cook the mayonnaise according to the recipe (see my posted recipe) and let it cool. I seasoned it for the pasta salad with rosemary oil, lemon-flavored vinegar, and mustard. Cook the pasta in salted water, drain, rinse under cold water, and place in a bowl. Split the peppers, remove the seeds and white pith, and dice. Halve the tomatoes, remove the stems, and also dice. Finely chop the spring onions (including the green part of the onions) and add to the pasta along with the tomatoes and peppers. Add the mayonnaise and mix everything well. Season to taste with salt, pepper, paprika, and optionally more mustard and vinegar. Refrigerate the salad for at least 2 hours.
