Onion meat with ginger

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 m.-sized beef roulade(s), not too thinly sliced
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 5 cm ginger
  • 85 g instant noodles
  • 400 ml water
  • 1 tsp, heaped vegetable broth, instant
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 large chili pepper(s), green

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

from beef roulades

Halve the roulades lengthwise, then cut crosswise into 1.5 cm wide strips. Slice the onions and chilies into strips. Chop the ginger. Heat the coconut oil in a wok. First, sauté the onions with the ginger, then add the meat, pepper, and chilies. Meanwhile, bring the water to a boil. Add the noodles and vegetable broth to the water. Let simmer according to the instructions. Once the meat is pink, add the noodles to the meat. You can also add the broth. It will then be more liquid. Season to taste with soy and fish sauce.
