Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 125 g butter
- 125 g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 orange(s), grated peel
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp orange juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 10 minutes
Coarsely grate the chocolate. Knead the butter with the sugar, salt, egg, and orange zest. Sift the flour and baking powder over the mixture, add the chocolate, and quickly knead everything into a smooth dough. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in aluminum foil, and let it rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of 5 mm and cut out cookies with a diameter of 5 cm. Place the cookies on a baking sheet, leaving enough space between them, and bake on the middle rack of the oven for 8-10 minutes. Sift the icing sugar, mix it with the orange juice, and glaze the cookies with this glaze.
