Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 1 orange(s)
  • 8 cloves
  • 2 anise (star anise)
  • 250 g sugar (white rock candy)
  • 1 bottle of schnapps (wheat grain)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Rinse the orange thoroughly under hot water and stud it with cloves. Place the rock candy in a preserving jar, add the orange and star anise, and pour the wheat germ over it. Seal the jar. Let the orange liqueur mature in a warm place for about 3-4 weeks. After the maturation period, strain the liqueur into a bottle or attractive carafe. You can squeeze the orange and use the juice for tea or punch.
