Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 roll of topping dough
- 200 g cottage cheese
- 1 egg(s)
- 50 g cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp oregano
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
for 6 – 8 snails
Roll out the puff pastry (note: not shown in the video). Combine the other ingredients in a bowl and whisk everything together, seasoning with salt and pepper. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry. Roll up the puff pastry and cut into 6 to 8 equal pieces. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the snails, cut-side down, on the baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 170°C (top/bottom heat) and bake the cheese snails for about 25 minutes.
