Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 ml sunflower oil
  • 100 ml water
  • 100 ml ouzo
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 20 g baking powder
  • 1 kg flour, approximately
  • possibly sesame

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

neither salty nor sweet

Knead all ingredients together thoroughly. Take walnut-sized pieces of dough, shape them into snake-like shapes, and then seal them into a circle. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) on the middle rack until light brown. You can sprinkle white or black sesame seeds on top before baking, but this isn’t required.
