Oven-baked fried potatoes

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 ½ kg jacket potatoes
  • 100 g bacon, fattier
  • 500 g onion(s)
  • 200 g bacon or ham
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the potatoes and slice them. Fry the fatty bacon, transfer them to a baking dish, and add the potatoes. Do not stir! Bake in the oven at 200°C for 30 minutes. Add the onions and lean bacon (or ham) to the potatoes. Do not stir! Bake in the oven at 200°C for another 30 minutes. Sprinkle 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper (optional) over the potatoes. Stir and serve immediately.
