Oven curry

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg turkey or pork
  • 500 g onion(s)
  • 1 small can of peas, drained
  • 1 small can of mushrooms, drained
  • 1 small can of pineapple, drained
  • 250 ml curry sauce
  • 125 ml chili sauce
  • 600 ml sweet cream
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Fat for the roasting pan

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Grease the roasting pan. Cut the meat into small pieces, roughly the size of goulash cubes. Place it in the roasting pan and season with salt and pepper. Add the peeled, diced onions, drained peas, mushrooms, and pineapple. In a large measuring jug, whisk together the cream, curry sauce, and chili sauce and pour over the ingredients. Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil and cook in a preheated oven on the middle rack at approximately 180 degrees Celsius for two hours. Side dishes (variable): Baguette, rice, or pasta. Also delicious on its own without the peas, mushrooms, and pineapple. You can vary any or all of these additions, or omit them entirely.
