Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g pepper(s) (pimientos)
  • 250 ml olive oil
  • Sea salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 8 minutes

small green peppers from Mallorca – also available in the Canary Islands

Wash the peppers thoroughly. Pour the oil into a pot; it should be about 2 cm deep. Add the peppers to the boiling oil and cook for 2-3 minutes. When the skins blister, they’re done. I remove them and place them briefly on kitchen paper to degrease. They’re then sprinkled with sea salt and served hot, in Mallorca, in clay bowls.
