Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 baguette(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 1 tomato(s), juicy, ripe
- olive oil
- Grated Manchego, optional
- Serrano ham, cut into thin strips, optional
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
delicious tomato baguette
Halve the baguette lengthwise. Toast the halves in the oven or air fryer according to the package instructions until the baguette is nicely browned. Now grate the peeled garlic clove onto the still-hot baguette. Halve the tomato and squeeze the juice over the baguette. Grate the tomato flesh onto the baguette and season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil to taste. Finally, sprinkle the bread with Serrano ham or Manchego, if desired.
