Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 450 g peas (frozen)
  • 1 kg quark
  • 6 eggs (depending on size)
  • 60 g sauce thickener
  • Salt and pepper, paprika
  • 500 g bacon or ham cubes
  • 4 onions
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 6 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • Salt, turmeric, nutmeg
  • 400 ml milk
  • oil
  • Grated cheese (plenty, preferably Tillsitter or Gruyère)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

To prepare the pea and curd mixture: Mix the curd with the egg, sauce thickener, and peas, and season to taste. To prepare the bacon mixture: Heat oil in a pan, fry the bacon and onions until golden brown. To prepare the pancakes and cake: Sift the flour and whisk all ingredients together in a bowl. Cook 9 pancakes in a non-stick pan. Spread the pancakes with the curd and pea mixture and the bacon mixture. Stack to form a cake, and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the oven at 160°C for about 20 minutes.
