Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 rolls of topping dough from the refrigerated section
- 1 cup sour cream or crème fraîche
- 5 spring onions
- 1 red bell pepper
- 80 g raw ham, Italian, air-dried
- 125g mozzarella
- 2 tbsp Parmesan, freshly grated
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Roll out the puff pastry rolls and spread with the sour cream or crème fraîche. Season with salt and pepper. Slice the spring onions, finely dice the bell peppers and mozzarella, and spread them on the cream. Finely chop the ham and spread it on the mixture. Finally, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Unroll the puff pastry roll from the longer side and cut into slices with a sharp knife. Place the slices on three baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake for 15-18 minutes. Note: This batch serves 4-8 people, depending on your appetite and the occasion. Serve for four as a small dinner with salad. Serve for eight as appetizers with an aperitif.
