Paprika – apricot sauce with chili

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg red bell pepper(s), cleaned, cut into pieces
  • 1 kg apricot(s), cleaned, pitted, cut into pieces
  • 1 liter apple juice
  • ½ liter apple cider vinegar
  • 70 g salt
  • 500 g gelling sugar, 2+1
  • 2 chili peppers (Habanero pepper), red or orange, cleaned, cut into pieces

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Combine all ingredients, except gelling sugar, in a large pot and simmer gently for approximately 30-45 minutes. Blend thoroughly with a hand blender. Add gelling sugar and boil briskly for 3 minutes according to the instructions. Pour into small, rinsed, hot bottles or jars. Serves well with grilled vegetables, as a dip for Asian chips or krupuk, with Indian pappadums, with meat, fish, and with fried dough balls.
