Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 450 g chicken breast fillet(s) or alternatively turkey breast
- 1 tbsp oil for frying
- 2 bell peppers, red
- 1 small zucchini
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml vegetable stock
- 200 ml cream
- 4 tbsp Ajvar, mild
- 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet or hot
- e.g. salt and pepper
- possibly sauce thickener
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cut the meat into small cubes or strips and fry in oil. Dice the bell peppers, zucchini, and onion, add them to the meat, and sauté briefly. Crush the garlic, add it, and sauté briefly. Pour in the vegetable stock and cream, add ajvar and paprika, and simmer for a few minutes. Season the sauce with salt and pepper and thicken if necessary. This goes well with fries, rice, gnocchi, and probably other dishes.
