Parmesan – Meatballs with Tomato Sauce
The perfect parmesan – meatballs with tomato sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
for the balls
- 600 g Mixed hack
- 1 Egg
- 100 g Freshly grated Parmesan
- 1 Clove of garlic
- Salt pepper
- 1 small Onion, diced
- Oil for frying
for the sauce
- 2 Onions
- 1 Can Tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Paprika pulp (Ajvar)
- 1 tsp Separate oregano
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- Basil leaves
- 1 pinch Sugar
- Put the minced meat, egg, grated Parmesan and onion in a bowl and knead well.
- Peel off the garlic, chop it into small pieces and mix in.
- Season with salt and pepper and shape into balls.
- Heat the oil in a pan, fry the balls briefly and take them out again.
- Roughly dice the onions and sauté in the frying fat.
- Add the tomato pieces, season with salt, pepper, tomato paste, ajvar, oregano and possibly chilli-chili powder. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Season to taste with a pinch of sugar.
- Add the meatballs to the sauce, cook for 5 minutes and serve with the basil leaves.
