Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg wheat flour
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 750 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt, maybe a little more to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours

White bread, which always goes faster than anything else at a party!

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the water, then knead with salt and flour to form a nice yeast dough. Form two long, thin loaves and place on a baking sheet. Cover with a tea towel and let rise for 1 hour. Bake at 180-200 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes (use your own oven’s experience).
