Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 pack of puff pastry from the refrigerated section
- 150 g ham, finely diced
- 150 g cheese, grated
- 1 onion(s), chopped
- 2 tbsp crème fraîche
- 1 egg(s), separated
- Parsley, chopped
- salt and pepper
- oregano
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Mix the ham with the onions, parsley, crème fraîche, egg whites, cheese, and seasonings. Be careful with the salt; the cheese and ham are already quite salty. Roll out the puff pastry, spread with the filling, and roll tightly along the long side. Cut into approximately 1.5 cm thick slices and place them on a baking sheet. Brush with the beaten egg yolk and bake at 190°C for about 18 minutes. The snails are delicious hot or cold.
