Pasta and cherry casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g sugar
  • 400 g sour cherries from the jar
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp almond flakes
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 250 g tagliatelle pasta

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bring the milk to a boil with vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt. Cook the pasta in it for about 9 minutes, then drain and set aside to drain. Whisk the eggs with the cream cheese and sugar. Pour half of the pasta into a greased baking dish. Top with the drained cherries and half of the egg custard. Spread the remaining pasta and egg custard on top. Sprinkle with the flaked almonds and bake at 175°C for about 30 minutes.
