Pasta and ham casserole

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g pasta (e.g. fusilli)
  • salt water
  • 300 g cooked ham
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda, medium-aged), sliced
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 2 eggs
  • nutmeg
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water as usual. Cut the ham and Gouda into small pieces and place them in a casserole dish with the pasta. Whisk together the eggs and cream to make a sauce, seasoning with nutmeg and pepper. Bake everything in the oven at 170°C for 45 minutes.
