Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 150 g bacon, streaky
- 1 onion(s), finely chopped
- 500 ml cream
- 2 garlic cloves
- e.g. salt and pepper
- 1 bunch of basil
- 500 g pasta of your choice
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cut the bacon into small cubes and fry in a pan. Add the finely chopped onion and cook until translucent, then pour in the cream. Press in the garlic and season with salt, pepper, and basil. Simmer for about 10 minutes until thickened. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Serve on plates with the sauce and garnish with a basil leaf.
