Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g pasta (ribbon or curly pasta)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 200 g sausage (Linguiça calabresa)
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- ½ bell pepper(s), red
- 1 tomato(s)
- Salt
- Paprika powder
- oregano
- 1 pack of tomatoes, chopped or pureed, approx. 400 g
- Pasta water (2 ladles)
- 1 dash of cream
- Peas, optional
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Cook the pasta. Drain, reserving 2 ladles of the cooking water. Chop the onion, garlic clove, bell pepper, and tomato. Slice the calabrese and fry. Add the onion and garlic and fry. Fry the bell pepper for a few minutes and then add the tomato. Season the mixture and add the chopped tomatoes. Let everything simmer slightly. Add 2 ladles of the pasta cooking water. Add the pasta to the sauce, add a little cream, and peas, if desired.
