Pasta salad with eggs

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (e.g. spirelli)
  • 10 eggs
  • 1 jar cucumber(s), sour
  • 1 jar Miracle Whip
  • 1 pack of salad (pasta salad, ready)
  • 2 apples
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Boil the eggs and pasta, let cool. Chop the eggs and cucumber, and peel and chop the apples. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well with Miracle Whip. Season with salt and pepper. You can also add peas or chopped cheese (e.g., Emmental), if you like. The pasta salad can also be omitted. My grandma always added it as a “base,” as she always said. It tastes best when the salad sits for a few hours.
